Oats "Donna"
Common oat "Donna".
"Green fertilizer".
Green manure from a cereal crop enriches the soil with nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, prevents leaching of humus, loosens and structures the earth well.
Plants are undemanding to the soil, well tolerate drought, shading, cold (withstand frosts down to -5°C).
An excellent predecessor for crops that need a lot of nitrogen (potatoes, cabbage, carrots, beets, onions), which not only restores, but also heals depleted soil...
Such a natural fertilizer is especially indispensable for garden plots with disturbed crop rotation and non-compliance with the rules for crop rotation (replacing almost 50 kg of manure with 20 m2).
In addition, it inhibits the development of nematodes in the soil, effectively dampens and displaces weeds, and is excellent for mulching the soil and protecting cultivated plants from pests.

You can sow in spring, summer and early autumn (after harvesting), sowing in a continuous row method: seeding depth 2-5 cm with a distance between rows of 7-12 cm.
Shoots appear on the 4-6th day.
Special care during the growing season is not required.
The optimal growing time is 30-40 days, the grown plants (green mass) are mowed and planted in the soil (always before flowering!).
Embedding is carried out to a depth of 5-7 cm. This operation can be repeated 2-3 times per season.
Seeding rate: 200 g per 10 m2.
